Adelaide University teams have drawn Rostrevor and Northern Demons in the preliminary round of the 2018 FFA Cup.
After last year’s unprecedented cup run, the AUSC State League 2 team will visit the foothills to play Collegiate Soccer League (CSL) heavyweights Rostrevor Old Collegians.
AUSC Graduates Red will travel to Port Pirie’s brand new synthetic pitch to play Northern Demons.
The 21 preliminary round games will be played across the weekend of March 23-26. The victors will join the remaining National Premier League (NPL) and State League clubs in the Round of 32.
AUSC Graduates Red made history in 2016, when they became the first CSL team to reach the FFA Cup SA rounds proper. They lost to NPL side Croydon Kings an Anzac Day blockbuster.
Meanwhile, the AUSC State League reserves and Under 18s will also visit Byrne Park after being drawn to also play Northern Demons in the Federation Cup preliminary round on the same weekend.
