Adelaide University to play Metro United in Round 1 of WNPL

Former AUSC stalwart Racheal Quigley will suit up in Metro United colours as Adelaide University kick off their 2018 Women’s National Premier League SA campaign against her new team on Friday 2 March.

The eight team competition will see newly promoted NTC Girls open their top flight campaign against last season’s league Premiers, West Adelaide before playing Adelaide University in Round 2.

AUSC will then host Salisbury Inter who have signed defender Chantelle Ryder as she follows mentor and immediate past AUSC coach, Tracey Jenkins to the northern suburbs club.

The 2018 season sees a number of changes to coaching appointments with previous assistant coaches Michael Hatzipanagiotis (Adelaide City) and Kosta Jaric (Adelaide University) stepping up to the senior role. Fulham United have appointed former Adelaide University assistant coach John Ebbs after farewelling their long time serving coach Max Primaro. Salisbury Inter have replaced Adrian Santrac with Lewis Vallelonga for their second season in the WNPL.
