The AUSC is sad to announce that Division 3 Men’s head coach John Edwards has left the club to pursue further coaching opportunities.

Edwards will coach AUSC rival Adelaide Titans’ Premier Reserves team in 2014, completing a five year tenure with the Blacks.

Blacks vice-president Kevin Holohan thanked Edwards for his service and acknowledge his strengths as a ‘great organiser and coach which has strengthened the club’.

“It’s a loss, but we wish him well with his desire to improve his coaching at a higher level,” Holohan said.

“He will always be welcome back.”

Holohan also thanked Bill Edwards for his efforts as John’s assistant coach.

John will take reign of a Titans team which finished 8th in 2013, eight points behind the fourth placed Blacks in the Saturday Premier Reserve Competition.
