Isabella Blaess, Mel Wilmot and Pirrie Weeks have been selected to train with the Football Federation SA Girls NTC Squad on Wednesday June 5.
The Blacks trio will be part of the NTC Squad’s session at Adelaide University, the next stop on the group’s monthly club visits across Adelaide.

BBQ and drinks will be available to The Blacks community while the NTC group train.

Premier Women manager Lisa McCormick said The Blacks were excited to host the squad.

“The strategy of running training at each club is to enhance and build strength, improve quality of coaching and continue to inspire girls to be the best they can be in the game,” McCormick said.

NTC Coach Geoff Hargreaves believes the monthly club visits are a practical way to demonstrate the NTC program to club players, coaches and parents and hopefully unearth some talent within our club system.

“The Club Visits have been a great way for girls and coaches to see level needed to work towards playing W-League,” he said.

“It also provides us the opportunity to look at players who are currently not involved in the pathways, as well as coaches who are looking to continue to improve and develop.”

“Hopefully these sessions and club visits inspire others to keep striving to reach their goals and aspirations.”

All AUSC coaches and players are invited to attend the training on June 5 from 6pm.
