Adelaide University are back-to-back champions after winning the Football SA Women’s National Premier League Reserves grand final.

Uni beat Adelaide City 3-0 in the final, after finishing top of the table in the regular season with a record of nine wins, three draws and two loses.

Emi Soulio opened the scoring on the stroke of halftime and Lauren Mather netted five minutes after the restart. Bethany Harms sealed the deal with the third goal in the 76th minute.

Back-to-back championship wins is a significant achievement in the club’s history after also being minor premiers in 2017, 2019 and 2020 and finalists in each of the past four seasons.
