With a very stretched squad, playing the top and undefeated Unley was always going to be a difficult task. Unley had only conceded 3 goals for the season so Ismail had a lot to do. Despite conceding two goals early we didn’t drop our heads. Sammy Burt must have been watching Paul K too much, as he managed to lob the keeper from the left sided by-line it what will go down in one of football’s biggest debates; was it a shot or was it a scuffed cross (defiantly the latter). Unley managed to push the gap out to two again before Ismail brought the game to 2-4. Good display by a very light squad (5 of the 15 playing the game before and coach George). Thanks to all the players that filled in, and thanks to George for filling the CB whole left by injured Stef!
