Women’s National Premier League reserves championship winning coach Kosta Jaric has been appointed head coach of the WNPL squad for 2018.

In a statement released to members today, board member Alun Cooksley said the club was delighted to announce Jaric’s promotion.

“Kosta has a very strong coaching record at the AUSC with a string of awards and team titles to his name,” Cooksley said.

“We want him to continue contributing to the growth of women’s football within the club as well as within South Australia.”

In 2017, Jaric led the WNPL reserves team to cup and league trophies. The year before, he coached the Division 1 Women to a thrilling cup final win and a second-place finish in the regular season competition.

Jaric has also been awarded the Football Federation SA Community Coach of the Year and the AU Sport’s Association Coach of the Year (Development) award.

“Kosta’s accomplishments as a coach on the field are also supported with his ongoing commitment to become the best he can be by completing his C and B Licenses in coaching,” Cooksley said.

“I expect the AUSC community will join me in congratulating Kosta on his appointment as the Women’s National Premier League senior coach for 2018.”
