Adelaide University Soccer Club is thrilled with a successful 2016.

There were medals in the women with the Division 3 ladies winning the league title on the last match day. League Best & Fairest Sam Decena and golden boot winner Tamika Jones also were rewarded with individual honours.

The Division 1 women won the cup final in a thrilling penalty shoot-out. Another big coup with Alysia Panagakos winning the Football Federation South Australia (FFSA) Best and Fairest in the Division 1 competition. Meanwhile, Division 1 coach Kosta Jaric was recognised as the FFSA Community Coach of the Year.

The inaugural season of the National Women’s Premier League saw AUSC fall at the elimination final stage. Maria ‘Cote’ Rojas’ 35-goal haul earned her the Golden Boot as well as second in the Best and Fairest. Third and fourth in the best player count were AUSC teammates Chantelle Ryder and Katherine Ebbs.

The Under 13 Boys finished runner-up – the best placing by an AUSC boys team in history. The number of Junior Boys players also doubled in only the second year of the program running.

The Blacks Division 5 Men finished the league on top and undefeated; while the Premier Division and reserves teams had to settle for second place respectively.

Graduates Red soared to another Collegiate Soccer League championship. They were buoyed by league Best & Fairest winner Tomislav Zilic and Golden Boot winner Philip Kisieh.
