UPDATE: The arrangements for the AUSC Awards Night have been changed to a more suitable date and venue. There was a number of unforeseen clashes which prevented many of our members from attending.
We apologise if this causes an inconvenience to you but we hope that you can still join us to celebrate the AUSC season just passed and acknowledge our award winners.
We feel that the change will afford the opportunity for more members to join in and to bring along family and friends to enjoy this event in a more relaxed environment.
What: AUSC Awards Night
When: Friday November 8, 5:30pm
Where: Long Room at the Park 12 Grandstand (Street parking available along War Memorial Drive, Frome Rd and Sir Edwin Smith Ave)
Dress-code: Casual
What’s included: FULLY CATERED BBQ, Beer and Soft Drinks
Tickets: $30 Available online here Children under 12 are free.
Tickets are available online or at the Adelaide University Sport Office (Ground Floor, George Murray Building) in cash only please.
For those who have already purchased tickets, and can no longer attend, or for those who have paid for an U/12 ticket, please respond back ASAP so that a full reimbursement can be arranged for you.
It will be assumed that those who do not respond can still attend and as such a $20 (for early birds) or $30 (for all others) reimbursement will be provided on the night of the event.

Frolic amongst club identities, your teammates and other football enthusiasts. Celebrate the achievements of your peers in this, the first official whole club awards night – that’s the Reds, Whites, Blacks & Blues, all together.
It’s a moment to recognise and reward those who make our club great….YOU – our coaches, players and volunteers. We value your time, effort and passion you give and will be recognising you with our club awards.
This inaugural Club celebration will showcase awards presented in the following categories:
William Hill Volunteer of the Year
Who can nominate?
Nominations for the ‘William Hill Volunteer of the Year’, ‘Team Player of The Year’ and ‘Coach of The Year’ are open to anyone in the club to nominate.
Nominations for the ‘Junior Player of the Year’ and the ‘Golden Boot Award’ can only be nominated by team management – coach or manager.
How to nominate
Download the appropriate nomination form, complete and submit to soccer@theblacks.com.au by September 27.
After nominations have been received the AUSC Executive will then review all valid nominations and select the award winners. The winners will then be announced on the night.
